HARRISON PENSA™ conducts articling interviews according to guidelines established by the Law Society of Upper Canada.
At this time, we have hired our full complement of Articling Students for 2020/2021.
Harrison Pensa LLP typically will hire four or five articling students. Interviews are conducted in compliance with the recruitment procedures established by the Law Society of Upper Canada. Usually, those procedures provide that applications are due in early May, with interviews being conducted in late May/early June. Interested students should watch for updates about 2021-2022 articling opportunities at Harrison Pensa LLP.
For further details, students may also consult the Law Society guidelines.
Articling applications should include the following:
- Covering letter
- A copy of your undergraduate transcript and your law school transcript to date, as well as your graduate transcript, if applicable. (If the timing of release of marks at your law school is such that your transcript will not reflect your most recent grades, please feel free to provide whatever unofficial record about those grades that is available from your law school.
- A list of the law school courses in which you are enrolled, or in which you anticipate enrolling, in your third year.
- Reference letters are not required, but are welcome.
