Highlights the law firm’s ability and commitment to keep sensitive client data safe
Harrison Pensa LLP is pleased to announce we have received our SOC 2 Type II audit report. As a full-service law firm, Harrison Pensa is entrusted with the sensitive data of a wide variety of clients. With that trust comes a responsibility to protect that data — a responsibility that Harrison Pensa takes very seriously.
The completion of the SOC 2 Type II audit and the resulting independent auditor’s report highlight the firm’s operational excellence and underscores its ability and commitment to keeping sensitive client data safe. Harrison Pensa clients can rest assured knowing our law firm takes every possible step to protect their data and reputation.
Harrison Pensa’s ongoing dedication to data security does not end there. The firm consistently reviews how we collect, manage, and secure client data. As part of that process, Harrison Pensa will continue to engage in SOC 2 Type II audits annually.
“The completion of our SOC 2 Type II certification is a significant achievement and recognition for the firm,” said Chief Operating Officer Adam Jean. “I am proud of the efforts and commitment of our entire team to achieve this internationally recognized standard that demonstrates the firm’s steadfast commitment to information security for our clients.”

About SOC 2 Type II Reports

A SOC 2 Type II report is an internal controls report capturing how a company safeguards client data and how well those controls are operating. The reports are issued by independent third-party auditors and cover the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants’ (AICPA) Trust Services Principles and Criteria.
SOC 2 Type II reports include a description of the controls, the tests performed to assess them, the results of these tests, and an overall opinion on the design and operational effectiveness of those controls.
Harrison Pensa is SOC 2 certified based on a Type II auditor’s report.
