Tracy is an Associate Lawyer in the Personal Injury Group at HARRISON PENSA™ where she works with clients who have suffered losses as a result of motor vehicle accidents, slip and falls, assaults and other injuries. Tracy’s clients reflect tremendous diversity. She has extensive experience working with multicultural clients throughout the London - Toronto corridor and represents clients in all social and economic walks of life. Tracy has practiced in both personal injury and Insurance Defence Litigation. Her experience gives her a deep understanding of both sides of the litigation process and offers a unique and valuable perspective when working with her injured clients.
Tracy works closely with her clients. She understands well the hardships and struggles that her clients face after suffering from an injury and works diligently to compassionately guide her clients through the litigation process while also ensuring they obtain the appropriate assessments, support and plan of action to bring their cases to a successful resolution.
Tracy has successfully appeared on hearings, summary judgment motions, pre-trial conferences, pre-hearing discussions, contested motions, complexed, multi-party mediations, and other proceedings before the Superior Court of Justice, the Financial Services Commission of Ontario (FSCO), the License Appeal Tribunal (LAT), the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario, and the Criminal Injuries and Compensation Board (CICB).
Since being called to the bar in 2007, Tracy has been active in her profession. She has served as a volunteer and board member of the Canadian Association of Black Lawyers, where she has organized seminars on personal injury law and founded its e-magazine, Black Lawyer-ish.
She is a member of the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association, Middlesex Law Association, Law Society of Ontario, Ontario Bar Association, CIC - Canadian International Council (Waterloo Region) and the Black Female Lawyers Network.
On the community front, Tracy has contributed her time to various community groups, organizations, churches, charities and hospitals in Montreal, Toronto, Kitchener-Waterloo and London. As a native Montrealer, Tracy is fluent in French and is functional in Spanish. She loves to learn about other countries and cultures. Her love of travel and multiculturalism has in turn fostered a passion for world travel where she has visited five continents (and counting). Additionally, her love of sports has taken her to a World Track and Field Championship, a FIFA World Cup qualifier, and a Summer Olympiad.
Tracy’s personal injury practice is enriched by her experience, interests, passions and by bringing together her love of the law and advocacy, with her love of diversity and helping others.
