Meet Toenie

Toenie Hersch is a Family Lawyer at Harrison Pensa with a practice that encompasses custody, access, child and spousal support, divorce, property issues, domestic contracts and Children's Aid Society cases. He represents both private and legally aided clients.

Toenie focuses on helping spouses resolve the many difficult and complicated issues that flow from their separation. He has extensive experience helping spouses negotiate separation agreements and, when necessary, representing them throughout the family court process. He also performs an enormous amount of child protection work, usually representing parents in child protection proceedings.

Toenie’s clients, and other family lawyers with whom he works, appreciate the extremely caring and respectful manner with which he deals with clients and handles their family law issues. He understands and takes into account the tremendous amount of stress and emotion that people experience during the breakdown of relationships or in the child protection process.

The number-one priority in Toenie’s life is his family, including twin sons who are extremely active with hockey. In addition, Toenie is an avid cyclist, known among colleagues for his long bicycle trips to and from work every day in virtually every kind of weather.
