Sean is a lawyer practicing exclusively in personal injury litigation at HARRISON PENSA™. As a Partner in our Personal Injury Law Group, he represents injured victims of car crashes, medical malpractice, and benefits denied by insurance companies. He understands the devastating impacts of wrongful injuries and has dedicated his career to helping those who suffer them receive fair compensation for their losses.
Accident victims face multiple challenges that go beyond the physical, emotional and financial damages resulting from their injury. They also must deal with the accompanying impairment of personal independence, the loss of dignity when insurance companies downplay or ignore their injuries, and the intense frustration that flows from both. Families of victims, including children, parents, and grandparents, suffer as well from the loss of a loved one’s provision of physical, emotional and financial support.
Sean reaches out to these individuals, helping guide them through the complex system of personal injury law and towards the road to rehabilitation and recovery. He provides a free initial consultation to discuss their case, meeting with potential clients and their family members in their home or other convenient locations. He explains their legal rights, the process required to exercise those rights, and the means to start getting their lives back on track.
Sean’s dedication to his clients and his determination to serve their needs has generated consistently powerful results. He has recovered significant levels of compensation for victims of negligence and insurance company injustice. He works on a contingency fee basis, meaning that he receives a percentage of the compensation recovered for his clients without charging any upfront fees.
Sean believes no one should ever become lost in the legal system, and he communicates clearly and frequently with his clients to prevent that. His team of knowledgeable, approachable clerks and highly skilled associate lawyers ensures that each client receives individual attention and regular contact. He retains the services of leading physicians, psychologists, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and other experts to help obtain fair and reasonable benefits and compensation. Sean’s ultimate goal in every case is to allow his clients to focus on their rehabilitation and the restoration of their lives and dignity.
Sean is deeply involved with organizations that serve the victims of personal injury, including the Brain Injury Association of London & Region and Spinal Cord Injury Ontario. He has contributed articles to the Brain Injury Association Legal Guide and the Ontario Brain Injury Association publication The Monarch. Sean is also an active member of the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association, the Ontario Bar Association, the American Association for Justice, and the Middlesex Law Association.
Sean is a lifetime Londoner who has long been active as a coach and convener with the North London Hockey Association and the London Devilettes Girls Hockey Association. He is devoted to his family, where music and sports rule the day. His three children play competitive hockey and soccer and enjoy playing music and singing. Sean himself plays several musical instruments that he learned from his father.
