Mustafa Jilani is an Associate with the Wills, Estates, Trusts and Charities Group. A dual-licensed lawyer (Ontario & Illinois) with a decade of experience, his practice is centered on estate planning, estate administration and guardianship applications, along with a niche focus on Islamic wills and digital asset management.
Having worked in real estate, family and corporate law in the past, Mustafa brings a holistic approach to his estate planning and takes a personal interest in each of his clients. He can explain complex legal issues in clear practical terms and prefers straightforward and cost-effective solutions for his clients.

Where guardianship applications are required, Mustafa assists clients with the guardianship and management plan and guides them through the court process.
Mustafa holds an Honours Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Toronto and a Juris Doctor from the University of Toledo. During law school, Mustafa excelled at advocacy competitions while being a member of the Moot Court team. He won the intra-school appellate advocacy competition and went on to compete nationally at Stanford University and internationally at the VIS International Arbitration competition in Vienna, Austria.
Passionate about giving back, Mustafa is actively involved in the community having served on several boards and currently co-runs a childhood cancer foundation. An avid auto-enthusiast and writer, Mustafa enjoys working with his hands and camping in the summer.
