Lorraine J. Por


Lorrie Por is a partner with Harrison Pensa and Chair of the firm’s Employment and Labour Law Practice Group. Her practice is restricted exclusively to employment law and human rights law.

Employers turn to Lorrie for assistance with their employment and human right law issues and her advice and activities are valued by companies and business owners in both Canada and internationally. She helps a vast array of employers deal with allegations of discrimination or harassment in the workplace and provides legal guidance and assistance in cases of employee termination. She also assists businesses with a wide range of workplace policies, as well as with the development and review of employment contracts.

While Lorrie’s practice is primarily focused on providing legal guidance to employers, she also provides advice and practical solutions to employees who have experienced discrimination or harassment in the workplace. She also helps employees who have been terminated to ensure they receive fair treatment and compensation where appropriate. Lorrie always values practical, ready-to-implement solutions for her clients.

A 1990 graduate of the University of Western Ontario Faculty of Law who also holds an Honours B.A. in History and French Literature from the University of Toronto, Lorrie is active in the London community, supporting important local organizations including spending a number of years on the Board of Directors of WIL and London Bridge Child Care Services.
