General Manager and Counsel, HP Integrated Recovery Services
As General Manager and Counsel, Lindsay has overall responsibility for the management of the Integrated Recovery Services Department including Sales, Operations and Accounting. Lindsay is also responsible for implementing the strategic direction of the IRS group. She is responsible for developing and executing the department’s client strategy including benchmarking state-of-the-art practices, collaborating with customers to provide best in class risk management and working to implement and effect change in the daily work environment on behalf of staff and clients.
Before joining the IRS team, Lindsay was an associate lawyer with the Restructuring, Insolvency and Bankruptcy Group and the Litigation & Dispute Resolution Group, focusing her practice on bankruptcy and insolvency matters, and commercial litigation. Corporate clients of all sizes, from banks, trustees, and corporations to small business owners turned to Lindsay for her assistance in collecting debts, enforcing contractual rights and promises, as well as recovering property and equipment.
Lindsay was called to the Bar in 2008. Along with achieving Dean’s Honour roll status and various scholarships in her academic career, Lindsay worked as a Bilingual Commercial Credit Analyst for Home Depot and a Bilingual Consumer Credit Analyst for Citi Bank.
A Londoner born and raised, Lindsay is highly active in both the legal and the local communities. She is currently the Past President of the Middlesex Law Association, past Treasurer of both the Middlesex Law Association Board of Trustees and the Thames Centre Business Association and a member of the London Young Professionals Group. She is also a strong supporter of both the London United Way and the Taste for Life Regional HIV/Aids Connection.
Away from the office, Lindsay can often be found working in her gardens, growing vegetables and experimenting with new plants. She is also an avid traveller, from camping throughout Ontario to cruising through the Panama Canal. In all these activities and especially at home, Lindsay treasures the company of her husband and two young children.
