Justin Newman is a Partner with the Wills, Estates, Trusts and Charities Group at Harrison Pensa. His practice is focused on Estate Planning and Administration as well as Estate Litigation.
On the Estate Administration side, Justin acts for estate trustees, beneficiaries and individual family members dealing with the loss of a friend or loved one. Justin understands that administering the estates of family and loved ones can be emotionally difficult and supports his clients in a sensitive and caring manner. In his estate litigation practice, Justin represents estate trustees, beneficiaries and guardians in contentious situations that may arise. Justin's focus is to advocate passionately, but he also aims to find a cost effective solution that benefits his clients.
Estate Administration and Estate Litigation are areas of law where Justin is most passionate and he is active in several related professional associations. Justin is a member of the Law Society of Ontario, the Middlesex Law Association, Estate Planners Council and previously a student member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.
Justin grew up in Huntsville, Ontario before moving to London to pursue his law degree at Western University and eventually settling down with his young family. Justin actively contributes to his community volunteering with London Lawyers Feed the Hungry and most recently at the Elgin Oxford Legal Clinic in St. Thomas, Ontario. In his spare time, Justin enjoys playing bass guitar and basketball. Justin obtained a Masters Degree in German and so also enjoys speaking German whenever he can.
