Gemma Charlton is a Partner with the Estate Litigation group at Harrison Pensa. Prior to joining the firm, she entered private practice and built an estate litigation group from the ground up.
Gemma represents clients in will challenges and interpretation matters, dependant and spousal support claims, Passing of Accounts, estate administration disputes, Power of Attorney litigation, capacity litigation, trustee/executor disputes and guardianship applications. Gemma also has experience in estate planning and estate administration. Gemma has argued before various levels of court up to and including the Court of Appeal for Ontario.
Gemma is an active member of the London community and has volunteered with several organizations. She is currently the Chair of the Estate Planners’ Council of London.
Gemma was born and raised in the United Kingdom and moved to Canada after studying at the University of Hong Kong. Outside of work and volunteerism, Gemma’s big passions are her family, friends, dance and being active outdoors.
