Colin Campbell is an associate lawyer in the Insurance Services Group and Litigation and Dispute Resolution Group at HARRISON PENSA™. His practice focuses primarily on pursuing subrogated claims for insurance companies. His work covers a variety of areas of the law, including negligence claims, product liability, professional negligence, fraud and construction litigation. Colin is known for his practical and proactive litigation style, with an eye towards the most efficient and effective path towards resolution. Colin appears regularly before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, the Divisional Court and has experience arguing cases before the License Appeal Tribunal.
Previous to returning to Harrison Pensa where he completed his articles, Colin served as a Civil Litigation Construction Lawyer for a large full-service firm in Toronto. Prior to pursuing his law degree, Colin enjoyed a career in politics and government where he served for several years at Queens Park in several high-profile departments - including the Ministry of the Attorney General of Ontario.
At the office, Colin is well-known as a mentor to the firm’s articling students. Colin is a member of the Canadian and Ontario Bar Association’s, The Advocates Society and the National Association of Subrogation Professionals.
Colin received his Juris Doctor from Western University and was called to the bar in 2016.
When not serving his clients, Colin enjoys spending time with his young daughter and wife, cycling and is the captain (and fourth line grinder) of the HP beer league hockey team.
