Catherine Taylor is an Associate Lawyer in the Personal Injury Law Group at HARRISON PENSA™. Her personal injury practice focuses on helping clients injured in motor vehicle accidents, slip and falls and sports, work & recreation related activities. She takes a client-centred, results driven approach in obtaining compensation for her clients’ injuries and she helps her clients navigate the legal process, and deals with insurance companies on her clients' behalf to ensure that they receive fair compensation.
Catherine brings many years of civil litigation experience to the team gained while serving as an Insurance defence lawyer prior to joining Harrison Pensa in 2017. This valuable experience has provided Catherine with a wealth of knowledge, which she now applies to all her plaintiff personal injury files.
Catherine began her legal career as a crown solicitor following her call to the Bar in 2005. Over the course of her career in government, Catherine’s policy work helped shape real estate law reform in Ontario and she has contributed to the legal profession by delivering presentations and publications and developing learning materials including for the Ontario Bar Association and Middlesex Law Association. Catherine has also served as Professor within Fanshawe College’s Law Clerk Program.
Catherine graduated from the University of Western Ontario with a Bachelor of Arts degree and then obtained her Baccalaureate of Laws from the University of Ottawa in 2004. Catherine is a member of the Middlesex Law Association and The Law Society of Upper Canada.
When she is not serving her clients, Catherine maintains an active life volunteering, running and practicing yoga and spending time with her husband and children sailing, camping and enjoying family time outdoors.
