Megan is a licensed paralegal in the Insurance Services Group at HARRISON PENSA llp. She focuses her practice on pursing subrogation claims in the Small Claims Court across Ontario for a range of insurance clients in fire, flood, automobile and defective product claims. She also represents individuals for General Litigation matters within the Ontario Small Claims Court and the defence of Provincial Offences.

Raised in Stratford and is a graduate from Western University (Hons. BA in Criminology and Sociology) and Fanshawe College (Post-Graduate Paralegal Program, Hons.). In addition to her practice at Harrison Pensa llp, she is a part-time Professor for the Law Clerk Program at Fanshawe College since 2015 and in 2016 created her first course for the College, entitled “Fundamentals of Legal Documentation” for the School of Public Safety.

Megan is an active member of the National Association of Subrogation Professionals, the Law Society of Upper Canada and the Canadian Association of Paralegals. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, reading, and traveling.

Bryant, Kelly (032)

Kelly’s notable skills in documentation and communications are an asset to the Restructuring, Insolvency and Bankruptcy Group at Harrison Pensa. She is responsible for drafting legal documents in a variety of jurisdictions. These include Notice of Motions, Notice of Applications, Affidavits, Orders, Statements of Claim, Offers to Settle, Trial Records, Bankruptcy Forms, Receivership Documents and Certificates, Judgments, Notices of Garnishment, Assignment Court Forms, Writs of Possessions and Writs of Seizure and Sales. Kelly is also commended for her communicative abilities through her constant correspondence with trustees, bailiffs, appraisers, process servers, trial coordinators, courthouse staff and outside counsel.

Davies, Shannon (047)

Shannon Marie Rose Davies, Law Clerk


Shannon plays an active and distinguished role at Harrison Pensa both through her community service and her work in the Restructuring, Insolvency and Bankruptcy Group where she assists lawyers with the recovery of liquidated debt and assets. Shannon’s duties encompass a wide range of tasks including preparing, issuing and filing court documents, corresponding with trustees and debtors, and mediating client-agent communications. Shannon also works closely with clients to ensure that their goals are met through reasonable settlements in cases of bankruptcy and insolvency.

Shannon’s passion for the law extends far beyond the office and she illustrates this through her continued involvement within Harrison Pensa as a member of the Children’s Christmas Party committee and as a volunteer at the firm’s annual Oyster Party. She is also a regular volunteer at the Village of Glendale Crossing.

At Harrison Pensa, June is a veteran clerk possessing over 40 years of outstanding work within the practices of Insurance Defence and Personal Injury Law. Her tenure has allowed her to cultivate strong and lasting relationships with clients, and become a valuable asset for multiple lawyers and practice groups. Her tasks demand a wide variety of knowledge and skills including managing documents regarding insurance defence and plaintiff files. June is also responsible for performing regular follow-ups for many of our clients, and overseeing Assignment Court matters for the Harrison Pensa Litigation Group.

Kristina’s deep knowledge and passion for the law are evident in her work as a member of the Insurance Defence Practice Group. Her role incorporates a wide assortment of tasks, with a focus on assisting clients in subrogated actions pertaining to various property and product liability related claims under the Rules of Civil Procedure within the Ontario Superior Court of Justice. Kristina also works with the subrogation team to help clients in all manners of industry including municipalities, manufacturers, contractors, local businesses, and home and property owners.

Tonya plays a significant role in a broad range of corporate transactions within the practices of Insurance Defence and Litigation & Dispute Resolution. Her 14 years of experience have proved to be a vital asset to her practice groups, evidenced by her work in preparing and updating medical summaries, medical briefs, benefit briefs, employment briefs, and income tax chronologies.

Tarr, Donna (022)

Donna Tarr, Law Clerk


Donna brings 32 years of experience to the Personal Injury Law Practice Group at Harrison Pensa where she manages personal injury files from beginning to their closure. She has a wealth of knowledge in working within the Statutory Accident Benefits Schedule and coordinating between the injured party and their insurer. Donna is responsible for the daily support of these injured clients through reviewing and providing legal summaries on case law, pre-trial memos and mediation briefs. Donna works closely with these clients through fielding incoming calls, meeting with plaintiffs, and attending all proceedings including examinations for discovery, private mediations, and trial. Additionally, she works with insurers with respect to accident benefits and tort law. Donna is a veteran and key player in our litigation practice group.
