Man in Turkey Suit

Harrison Pensa would like to thank all the clients and friends who participated in this year’s Turkey Bowl on November 27.

‘Tis the season for giving.

Over 300 of our clients braved the snowy weather to watch American football and support our annual Turkey Bowl. The yearly event helps raise money for the London Lawyers Feed the Hungry organization to purchase holiday turkeys for local families and organizations in need.

Through the Turkey Bowl, we support a number of organizations in our community that are doing amazing things, such as:

  • London Area Food Bank

    • Helping the London community share its food resources.

  • Men’s Mission

    • Providing emergency shelter for individuals or families and caring for those with mental health.

  • The Women’s Shelter

    • Helping abused women and their children recover their lives in an non-judgemental environment.

  • Western Area Youth Services

    • Helping children, youth and families discover their unique strengths through group homes, foster care, and community programs.

  • Community Meal Programs

    • Providing hot meals to individuals and families in need across the London community.

This year close to $6,500 was donated to ensure that hundreds of families this holiday season will have a turkey for Christmas dinner. Over the past 10 years, over 4500 turkeys have been given out to those that need it. Special thanks to Belwood Poultry Ltd for being a great partner to us for the past few years. That’s a lot of turkeys!

We’re extremely grateful for our clients and friends’ generosity and kindness, and keeping this long-standing tradition such a successful event.

But most importantly, thank you for feeding our community.
