Are you seeking an exciting opportunity to work in a high-volume and fast-paced environment? We are currently recruiting for a full-time, temporary position in our Business Law Group as a Real Estate Legal Assistant.
This role ensures accurate legal documentation is prepared by set timelines, assists with managing the day-to-day operations of the Lawyer and performs a variety of administrative duties, including but not limited to; obtaining title searches; preparing mortgage and closing documents; drafting correspondence for clients, lenders and other law firms; preparation and invoicing accounts; scheduling appointments, managing calendars and bring-forward system for the Lawyer.
The successful candidate ideally has the following qualifications:
- 2-5 years’ experience working primarily in Real Estate, and Business Law;
- Working knowledge of Conveyancer and Teraview;
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office and standard legal industry software;
- Hard working and dynamic self-starter;
- Time management skills to manage a thriving practice;
- Highly organized and detail oriented;
- Ability to learn quickly;
- Team player.
