Matt Pedalino
Chief Information Officer
Matt Pedalino is the Chief Information Officer at Harrison Pensa, responsible for overseeing the firm’s Information Technology initiatives and strategy, ensuring they deliver outcomes that support the goals and objectives of the firm.
Matt comes to Harrison Pensa with a wealth of experience in roles that straddle the line between IT and the business. Through his former roles as an Information Security Analyst and as an IT Business Analyst, Matt understands that organizational value from technology can only be realized when IT truly understands the Business’ goals and strategies, and the Business understands the impacts, risks, and value-add potential that technology offers. Matt prioritizes information security and the confidentiality of client data, as evident through his leading the firm through its first successful SOC 2 Type II audit in 2020.
Matt was born and raised in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario where he completed his undergraduate degree in Computer Science from Algoma University. In 2015, Matt obtained a certificate as a Certified Information Systems Auditor from the Information Systems Audit and Control Association, scoring in the top-3 in Ontario on the certification exam. In 2022, Matt received the CIO of the Year – Next Generation Award from ITWorldCanada.
When not at Harrison Pensa, Matt enjoys the outdoors, various sports, and spending time with his wife and children.
