Application Process

Articling

Harrison Pensa LLP conducts articling interviews according to guidelines established by the Law Society of Upper Canada.  

Applications for 2014-2015 articling positions are due by Friday, May 3, 2013.  Students being invited for an interview will be contacted on Friday, May 10, 2013.  Interviews will be conducted during the week of May 27, 2013.  Offers will be made on Monday, June 3, 2013.  Out-of-province candidates may request an interview to take place prior to the week of May 27, 2013.  If granted, no offers of employment will be made until June 3, 2013.

Articling applications should include the following:

covering letter

résumé

a copy of your undergraduate transcript and your law school transcript to date, as well as your graduate transcript, if applicable. (If the timing of release of marks at your law school is such that your transcript will not reflect your most recent grades, please feel free to provide whatever unofficial record about those grades that is available from your law school.)

a list of the law school courses in which you are enrolled, or in which you anticipate enrolling, in your third year.

Reference letters are not required, but are welcome.
