Nawaz Tahir

Nawaz is a litigation lawyer whose practice focuses on motor vehicle, personal injury, commercial liability, and property loss litigation. He has appeared in the Superior Court of Justice, the Financial Services Commission of Ontario, and the Court of Appeal.

He handles claims involving bodily injury, accident benefits, priority/loss transfer disputes, coverage opinions, property losses and special investigation files. He is a guest lecturer at the University of Western Ontario Faculty of Law where he teaches Civil Procedure. Nawaz has written numerous articles on Insurance Law topics, and has been invited to present to various groups about insurance and civil litigation topics, including the Middlesex Law Association, the London Claims Association, Canadian Defence Lawyers, and the Canadian Association of Special Investigation Units. He has conducted numerous presentations to clients to keep them abreast of changes to the law and the use of technology in claims handling.

Outside of the office, he sits on the Board of United Way of London and Middlesex, where he also chairs their GenNext initiative, is the Head Coach of the London Jr. Falcons of the Ontario Varsity Football League, the Defensive Co-ordinator of the AB Lucas Vikings senior football team, sits on the Boards of local political riding associations, is the Chair of the Outreach Committee of the London Muslim Mosque, and sits on the MEC ‘Youth at Risk’ Advisory Committee.
