Jonathan Foreman

Jon is a partner in the firm. His practice is devoted to plaintiff’s class action work. He has experience with virtually all aspects of class actions practice. Jon has led evidence as trial counsel in one of the longest common issues trials in Ontario class action history. Jon has also successfully argued certification and settlement approval motions and has extensive experience with class action discovery.

Jon has also participated in mediations and other negotiated resolutions in class action cases.

Jon has acted as counsel on a range of class action matters involving:

  • Financial services and securities
  • Price fixing and other competition law issues
  • Pension and employment benefits

Jon is actively involved in both Federal and Provincial Politics playing a management role in the organization of campaigns at both levels.

Jon was a Gold Medal winner at the 1997 Canadian University Track and Field Championships, captain of the University of Western Ontario Track and Field Team (1995-1997), and earned First Team All-Canadian Status as a track athlete.
