Jonathan Dunlop

Associate

Jonathan is an Associate with Harrison Pensa LLP’s Family Law Group whose practice encompasses matrimonial planning, litigation and negotiation. He has a background in finance and accounting.

Jonathan is focused on providing legal and strategic counsel for both private and legal aid clients.

Jonathan can assist clients in planning for the financial issues that arise upon parties entering into and exiting marriages and common law relationships. He has experience in negotiating and drafting cohabitation agreements, marriage contracts, and separation agreements.

Jonathan also appears regularly before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice and Ontario Court of Justice throughout southwestern Ontario. He assists clients in divorce, custody, access, child and spousal support, and property disputes. He has also represented individuals involved in child protection applications made by various Children's Aid Societies.

Prior to attending law school, Jonathan worked in the accounting industry for two national chartered accounting firms.  He has a passion for Canadian History and aviation and is currently working towards acquiring his private pilot’s license. In his free time he enjoys playing hockey and throwing a frisbee with his Golden Retriever Maryck in Harris Park.
