1. There are lots of changes in the legal services industry – what changes excite you the most?
I am most excited by the changes that are happening in how law practices are being run and how our services are being offered to clients. With the technological advances that have happened in our industry, there is now more competition and pressures to be efficient and offer the best service at the lowest price than ever before. It will be very interesting to see how various firms and lawyers attempt to adapt over the next few years.
2. What makes a typical day great?
Walking my dog Maryck when I get home in the evening. He doesn’t care how my day was and only wants to play with his Frisbee. It’s hard not to let the day’s stresses slip away after a long walk with him.
3. What’s your favorite team?
The Toronto Blue Jays. I am a huge fan of Baseball in general.
4. What’s your guilty pleasure?
Starbucks.
5. What do your friends think of lawyers?
That we know everything about the law regardless of our area of practice. If I had a dollar for every time I got asked a question about criminal law…
